It was my birthday yesterday and I had the most amazing time ever! It was the best birthday and it was all thanks to my friends from church. So in the morning went to church at 12 45 for like "bible study" with Charissa, Shu En and Amanda. I was like trying to prepare for it, was reading through the book and trying to find the answers.

When I got into the car, I was actually suspecting something when I saw Sandra in the car. Actually I suspected something when Shaunald said some stuff online that day, but then I just forgot about it. So when I got to church I saw like most of the YE people and I was just expecting like Charissa there. haha, I did not get any like surprise or Happy Birthday Mel, but like I knew that was for me and like I was so touched, seriously I was surprised! then everyone started wishing me happy birthday. :)

The food was great, love the food and I loved all the presents I got from the pillow to the harry potter poster, loved them all. And Cheryl that just joined YE not too long ago got me a present and like she hardly knew me. I got very sweet letters from Shu En & Li En [which I love because my face was everywhere =)], Alethea which was very funny and filled with Chinese words, Amanda with the nice card with very meaningful words, my cell group cards, Daniel's card, Joyce's card.

And then we went to cut the cake that Shu En and Amanda decorated. They even made one for Nat. :) After cutting the cake, went into the room to watch the movie facing the giants, the beginning part of the movie was filled with trailers which were very annoying, then the movie started. I have to say I did not like the movie at first because it was very draggy and boring. But towards the end, it was really touching and sweet. And I think it is very important to trust in God even when your life is going down. :) After YE went to play cards with Charissa, Sandra, Ale and like Alethea won! she so does not deserve it. HAHAHA. =p

Thank you, Amanda, Shu En, Li En, Charissa, Rachel, Benjamin, Daniel, Ernest, My Cell Group, Joyce, Godma and Godpa, Hui Juan, Sarah, Ian, Audrey, Cassandra, Nat, Sandra, Alethea and the rest who gave me a present/ Birthday wish. Thanks to my school friends too! MJ, Yan Shan, Ebellia, Xue Fen, Jonathan, Esther, Mark for wishing me. :)

After Church, went to Kenny Rogers for dinner, had chicken, mashed potatoes, beans, pasta, muffins, ribs. Had so much fun there too, laughed at everything and like Charissa and Li en looked like they have not eaten for years.
We even asked the lady to help us take pictures, but she was not successful the firs time, she kinda screwed it up. haha. But all in all, we managed to get a nice group shot. :) Thanks, Audrey, Natalie, Ian, Amanda, Charissa, Li En, Shu En, Alethea and Sandra for spending dinner with me yesterday!
So today, went out with my laughing buddy alethea. we went to watch The Nanny Diaries. It was super funny right ale? and Chris evans is major hotness. =p The entire show was really good, filled with loads of funny parts like, "MY NANNY KEEPS SINGING CHRISTIAN HYMS, AND SHE KEEPS WANTING TO CONVERT MY CHILD!" Then they went to zoom towards this black women like a typical hym-ish person. I'm like laughing my head off! =p
Then after the movie we went to NUH. Ale had to go for her check-up. Thank Goodness everything is fine. :) Poor ale was quite scared right? but it all went well. haha, the nurses called her names like over 4 times? HAHA.

Today was great fun with ale, talked a lot about stuff and laughed about almost everything. HAHAHA, hymn lady. Ale you better continue to prac for your choir. :) And SND! you should have asked me if you could come told, I would love for you to join us. =( nvm, we will try to hang out soon. love!

Random Thought: GOD REALLY DOES WONDERS. AND I LOVE YE TO BITS!
