TELL ME IF YOU WANNA GO. :) 1ST AUGUST- FRIDAY 2ND AUGUST- SATURADAY ~~3RD AUGUST- SUNDAY~~ I guess Sunday is out, anyway i'm going to get the Fairfield people to join us this time around as well as all the other people that came for Alpha, so anyway I will be sending out an email really soon. School was quite alright today, there was no class in the morning and we waited outside for the teacher for like an hour an a half. My teacher did not even say that there was not class like -__-" After that we headed of to class and wisp was surprisly quite okay she gave up back our grades and then we started on our discussion. After that Ebellia, Esther, Xue Fen and I went to measure the temperature for the plants, i think the weather was seriously terrible. So after measuring we headed for lunch and like after that I had driving. I was so scared to go for driving today because firstly I had my FTE and I have been failing all of my pracs for driving and I have to say going into the FTE today I had no confidence at all because I was still unsure with some of the stuff. =s But anyway, I just passed it and i'm really thankful! :) After that I had driving, got my favourite teacher. He was my first teacher for driving and i got to drive all the way to Kenneth's Place as well as my cousin's place. haha! I enjoyed drving so much today. :) When I have nice teachers I tend to learn better. I really am thankful today. :) WELCOME BACK AMANDA AND SHU EN. :) I miss you very much!! I have been reading ____ blog and like I can't stand it, it gets me so annoyed everytime I read it. =s 8:11 PM :) School starts tmr. sigh! All the best for exams leps! :) 12:02 AM Thursday, June 19, 2008 HEY HEY HEY! AS I PROMISED, I'M FINALLY BLOGGING. HAHA. This blog has been dead long enough, I'll be blogging about the pass two weeks in June. :) HAPPY READING. HAHA! WEDDING. :) So in June I attended a very first Indian Christian wedding, my dad's friend. It was held at the church at Dempsey and it was really pretty wedding. It was rather small gathering of people but I guess to the Bride and Groom it was perfect, it was VERY traditional. haha The wedding dinner was rather interesting too. I have never attended a wedding dinner that was not in a hotel, this wedding was at a swimming club and it the food was not served to you but it was in a buffet style. The queue for the food was rather long and you had to wait to get your food. But it was quite a good dinner they had like 7 different curries, bread, rice and lots of other Indian food. haha. We left early because I had to go for camp the next day. :) It was a good experience, this wedding is the first time I did not know anyone but my own family. haha. CHURCH CAMP: BATAM :) This year's church camp was held at Batam in Indonesia. I have to say it was a very different camp than the one we had two years ago. I shall blog about it. :) Day 1: We met at 11 30 at harbour front to take a ferry to Batam, Shu, Amanda, Sandra, Li en and myself had Macs for breakfast and we saw like a few church members already having their breakfast there. After that we went cheers to get more food and Sandra to get her slippers because she realised that she only brought really nice covered shoes to camp. haha, so she kinda messed up the entire slipper area at cheers. HAHAHA It was so funny and like we could not stop laughing. haha. Amanda and Sandra went to change money then Shu, Leps and I went to DBS to take money out then, we walked all the way to DBS only to realised that Shu did not bring her DBS card. HAHA, so we went to OCBC(is it? I can't recall.) to take money out. Then we went to meet the rest of the peeps. :) We got split into our groups and boarded the ferry we girls were like the last few to board the ferry so we has to take the seats that was not air conditioned and the wind blowing in our faces. We tried to take pictures and we failed quite a number of times. haha, and every time I see Shu on the boat I think she is very very brave. Even though she has the fear of all these kinda thing she still makes an effort to get over the fear. :) Very proud of her. haha So the ride was about 40 mins? I really can't recall then we reached the placed and it is the most run down place I have ever seen. =s but then we quickly boarded the buses to bring us to our hotel, Planet Holiday. hahaWe had our briefing and like while waiting for everyone else to arrive we started to take pictures. haha. :)I like the last picture of Nat and I. I think we look freaking cute. HAHAHA. :) okay, so after that, we got our keys and I was bunking with Shu and Amd. :) We got to our room and Amd was like I'm taking the single bed. HAHAHAHA, then Shu and I were like err okay.. HAHAHAHAHA. I did not really mind anything as long as I had somewhere to sleep. haha. So after that Li en and Sandra came over to our room and took over the bed as if it was theirs. HAHAHA, then we ate some snacks? I can't really remember anything. HAHA! So at 4 30 we went down to the function room to have a combine service with the Chinese Cong people( cannot call them that anymore so now it's Morning Service). After the session, we had dinner and it was a buffet Leps and I were crazy over the koropok. I don't know how to spell it but yeah. hahahah I love it. :) Dinner was quite nice and we sat with Morning service people, the family is something like mine. Mom has 3 kids. haha. I think we came down late because we were watching "So you think you are smarter than a 5th Grader". After dinner we had ice breakers which were really fun! We played some game that if you lose you had to be an egg and if you win you can leave the game okay, I was rather good at this game but every time I meet up with En Yao's Mom I would lose to her and drop a level. I took really long to reach the top level but thank goodness I was not the last. HAHA After the games, we could go and sleep but I think if I remembered correctly we watched tv, we ordered the movies to watch and like I kept calling the front desk because our movie kept screwing up. haha! Then we ordered Nanny diaries so let me type out the convo. it was really funny! Front Desk Person: Hi, May I help you? Me: Hi, I would like to watch the movie Nanny Diaries, I'm in room 607 Front Desk:Nanny Diaries? okay, keep your eyes on 39(this is the movie channel f.y.i) Me: Okay Thank you. Goodbye (was trying not to laugh) Front Desk: Good Evening! End of convo. HAHAHAHAH, when he said Good Evening, it was the funniest thing ever! I told this to like the rest in the room and we could not stop laughing! The movie was playing and Leps and Sandra got tired and returned to their room, Amd, Shu and I watched a little more then we went to sleep. End of Day 1. Day 2: Woke up pretty late, I think we forgot that there was a time difference and like we only had 10 mins to have breakfast in order not to be late. We had breakfast and then we went for the second session and worship. The Bishop came and spoke to us about the purpose of the church and he asked us to list down what we thought the purpose of the church was and like my points was rather off from his. haha. But yeah during the discussion I realised that a lot of people in my group had different answers too. Then we has Youth Activities, it was quite fun. We played Bingo and Amd and Leps's Group won, Our group was just one question away from owning the entire game. I was telling Beatrice that we needed her question to win. haha! And she was like awww man. HAHA. Then when it was their turn, Beatrice's Group won. haha. :) We ended early so Shu, Leps, Amd, Snd and I decided to take a walk out of the hotel. We went to have Macs and KFC. haha, the food is soooooooo cheap! :) We saved lots of money man! HAHA We got back and went for dinner this time we were early. After dinner we went for worship and then we had out second session. The second session was about the Unity of the Church and he talked about how we need to move as a church in ONE direction. Then we had our discussion which I thought was rather good. I love having discussions because it allowed people to give their views on thing. When the Discussion was over we could all go to sleep. I think we slept early today because we were quite tired. End of Day 2. Day 3: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCUS! :) Woke up really early and head down for breakfast, we went for our third session and it was about the fellowship of the church and how our relationship with God is VERY VERY important. And that we have to keep on ministering to others and keep giving to others. :) I guess the session was rather long. got this really funny picture of the Ian, Issac sleeping. HAHA. After session, we could go out. So we headed to the town which was like 5 mins away and the first thing we did was to go into the salon. Amd, Snd and Leps started on their nails then Shu, Aaron and I went to get something to munch on. We got back and it was still not our turn to get our nails done. So I decided to get my hair washed because I felt it was really dirty. Aaron got his hair washed too and then I think he left for bowling with the rest. I went to to my reflexology and shu was getting her nails done. Halfway though my massage, Amd, Snd and Leps went to get their full body massage upstairs and Shu and Natalie joined me after an hour. I finished before them and decided to get my nails painted. I got an awesome red colour and it looked really pretty. :) After Amd and Snd was done with their massage they decided to wash their hair too, and the man blew Snd's hair really funny! haha. :) Natalie was so funny, at first she only wanted to do her nails but in the end she got a massage too. HAHA. We spent like the entire time at the salon and then we went to A&W for a light dinner, we did not A&W for years to we had to go have some. haha. it was yummmyyyy. :) After that we cabbed back to the hotel and it was time for photo taking. I think we started snapping away before the shot and like I decided to take pictures with Beatrice because I have not taken a picture with her in a very long time. I'm quite happy she was at camp. I used to be quite close to her last time but we kinda drifted but I think this camp has brought us closer again. haha. :) We took loads of pictures I just realised. haha! The last night, we decided to stay up late but I was feeling really sick, I kept throwing out and the more water I drank the more I felt like puking.I still stayed for a while to play a few games and like bonded with more Morning Service people and like Issac was quite funny when he was trying to fake the coin game. haha. I think I puked like 5 times then after that I decided to go back and rest, Shu and Amd were nice enough to go back with me. Thanks Shaunald and Aaron who were so concerned too. So I got back and forgot to set the alarm one hour earlier. and then... End of Day 3 Day 4: We woke up super late and like we had a wake up call from AKF and she was pissed like crazy. We had worship and Communion and I was once told that if you are angry with someone you should not take Communion but like I knew someone was angry with lots of things but yet the person still took Communion. Strange. =s Anyway, packed and waited at the lobby for the bus to come and then everything started going downhill. Lots of people got scolded and of course I was one of them, it's always me. But like yeah, I was not happy I think only one side was shown and the other side was not recognised. so anyway, I did not want to speak to anyone. Camp was quite fun, just that on the last day it was kinda ruined. But anyway, it was more fun and I think I learnt a lot from the sessions, even though it was quite long. :)I love this picture, I think Marcus and Shu looks cool! HAHAThe ferry back was much better and like we saw a lotttt of fish in the sea! like lots! hahaThis picture of Luke and Li En is the cutest thing ever! :) I missed out lots of things but like I have lots of other things to type. haha. I missed out the Room Service Massage which is an inside joke. That day was the funniest day ever! HAHAHA, Missed out other stuff too. I can't remember. =p End of Church Camp. :( BBoy Dance Competition:) :) Caleb took part in a BBoy competition and it was so cool to see him perform. :) I can really see his passion for dancing and to see so many other people dancing with him. Makes me remember when I use to dance in SCGS. But anyway, even though it did not win. I'm super proud of him, he was one of the youngest there but yet he still performed and gave it his best. :) I like to watch this kind of thing, I stood there for like 4 hours but it was all worth it for my little brother. :) Keep up the good work! :) Okay, last part of this post is about my trip to Bali. :) Family Trip(- Titus): Bali :) :) :) The Journey to Bali was the most draining flight ever! We flew to Jarkarta and then we had to wait a few hours then we had to fly to Bali. We left the house at like 6 something and reached Bali at like 3 something? Half the Day was gone already. But anyway, Our Hotel was really pretty! Our Hotel was like 3 mins away from the beach but I think Bintan's Beach is nicer. The beach that was near us was like under renovation so we could not really walk much. haha. :) There were random horse rides along the roads on Bali and I think it's rather poor thing. =( The weather there is just so hot and like the poor horses has to drag people around. Our Hotel was near a Shopping Mall called Discovery and like there is so much shopping to do there. :) There were shops like Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, Marks and Spencer, A&W, KFC, Pizza Hut, Krispy Kremes(not opened yet! so sadd) and lots of others. :) Caleb was in love with the arcade and he got me hooked on it too. HAHA. There were like freaking 40 over Polo shops! Everywhere you look there was one, but I think they are all second grade. haha. But shopping there was amazing! :) Loved it! I bought a mosaic mirror too! it's for my new home. haha! I was really determined to get it, I walked to alot of shops to try to get a pretty one and in the end I did. hopefully it's nice. :) We also went bowling and like there was no one at all. LIKE ZERO! it was so scary because we were alone then all the workers there were watching us bowl. HAHA. I did not win any game I was second for every game. :) 18 June 2008: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON! :) The breakfast everyday was good too! :) I really enjoyed the trip, it was lots of fun. haha! Thanks Dad for bringing us to Bali! :) We also went for a massage. Caleb and I did the Stone massage when they use smooth warm(HOT! they said it was warm but it was super hot!) stones to massage you. Then we went for a hair treatment and hair wash and blow. My mom and dad did the Balinese Massage and I also did my nails. HAHA, it's purple now. =p Even though we did not visit any special places in Bali I think the people in Bali are really nice. :)Bali was a good trip and I think i'm going to sleep soon. Jet lag! haha! Driving tmr. -____-" School is starting again. sigh, hectic life here I come. =s 9:40 PM Friday, June 13, 2008 hahaha, I have not blogged in AGES! I'm not planning to blog today, only will blog after I return from Bali. :) I hope I will have more fun then I had in Batam. haha. I'm really proud of my little brother. :) 10:06 PM Friday, June 06, 2008 I'm halfway through!! One more semester and I'm done with school life and it's off to attachment! Okay today we had out final presentation and I was so scared because like all the other groups were like really group. We were like last so it was like pressure on us. But WE GOT THROUGH WITH IT. :) I'm quite happy with the outcome and I think my group did really well. Really proud of all of my group mates. :) So after everything, we went to watch SATC. I really like it except CERTAIN parts. haha! but other than that it was pretty nice to watch. Went dinner after that and now I'm super dead tired. =( I have not even packed for camp yet and I have to attend a Wedding tomorrow, I wonder if I even will have time. sigh, alright I'm off! 10:29 PM Thursday, June 05, 2008 AMANDA CHEE! :) I AM HAPPY FOR YOU! 10:13 PM Wednesday, June 04, 2008 I think some distance between us will be good. :) I have been feeling so distant from the people that mean the most to me and at the same time, the people I want to be distant from I am actually able to click better with them now. Strange how things work. I have been having a terrible terrible week, so many test, submissions and presentations. I have never had so many things to do at one shot. sigh. Anyway, church camp on Sunday. I was quite excited about it. But after thinking about it, I'm not so hyped as I was before. Anyway, Random thoughts has been flying in my mind like I want to buy new hangers, those wooden ones to use for my cupboard, I was actually okay with the hangers being same as the clothes colour but the more I look at it, the more I get pretty annoyed with it. I keep getting super up tight these days, about the smallest thing. Like my mom last night placed my clothes on the bed and the hangers were all so different and I wanted to go get water first but in the end I went to sort the clothes out and packed my shoes before I went to get water. Everything seems pretty dull lately, need to find something fun to do after my common test week. I miss Shu, Amd, Char. =( Just feels like these few days I have not spoken to any of them. sigh. Alright, one more presentation and a quiz tmr. I hope tmr will be a better day than today.
